The creative path. Ever since I was a child, I have loved to draw and paint. In 2010, I had the opportunity to test myself over a longer period of time, and realized how much joy they really brought me, and after that it really took off.

I am self-taught, but have participated and still regularly participate in courses where my abilities and techniques are challenged. I am curious and inquisitive by nature, and am constantly looking for new techniques and motifs to try. Therefore, my "works" are also very different and characterized by this approach. The "common thread" in what I do, however, is largely elements from nature that have a place on my canvases, and then my strong colors. I primarily work in acrylic paint on canvas/paper, but it also becomes drawings, glass art, etc. I make quite a few pictures (and some glass) directly on request, i.e. there is a dialogue between me and the person who wants a certain area "decorated", in this way you can get your very own unique image - i.a. I have been responsible for the decoration of a brand new house, where the pictures had to make the rooms fit together, and the angular architecture and black/white interior had to have a sprinkling of "coziness" and personality.

Who am I deep down... and as an artist?

Bring the colors into your home - could be my motto. I work with unpretentious compositions that bring clear and bright colors into the home and create an optimistic and happy atmosphere.

My colorful works seem like a welcome contrast to the subdued Nordic style, and with its characteristic color scheme it lifts with warmth and light. My inspiration often comes from nature, where I would like to combine motifs and techniques with a playful colorful color, and through this convey a lively joy of life, regardless of whether it is abstract compositions or acrylic paintings that are very close to flora and fauna.

As an artist, I am self-taught and master many techniques. Therefore, you will experience great excitement within my works from painting to doodling.

What else can I offer?

Courses and lectures: I have a professional background in teaching, management and communication and naturally use this in connection with my courses in both acrylic painting and drawing. These can all be organized individually for groups – e.g. at a workplace.

Acrylic painting: Here, the courses are primarily aimed at those who want to get started with the paintings, where I have a lot of focus on passing on the techniques that I myself have gradually learned, and not least to restore the confidence and joy of the individual in this hobby. I experience many people who have this desire, but don't quite get started (again).

There are also courses designed exclusively for children. And the advantage of my small gallery is that I max. Takes 5 students in at a time, so there is time for each individual.

This can also be run as a group session – at companies, in my gallery or similar.

Drawing courses: Working with zentangling or Doodling, as it is also called, is my little secret for "active meditation", while creativity gets a huge kickstart.

This type of drawing can be done by EVERYONE, there are no mistakes, and the form is very free. Once you have learned the basics, there is no end to what it can become. At the same time, it can be used to "reset" purely mentally, relaxation if you have a busy everyday life. Yes, for some of my students it has actually become a substitute for sleeping pills, as it has a relaxing effect.
